Are employers required to notify employees about their continuation options under Texas State Continuation?

Yes, Texas State Continuation has notice requirements similar to the COBRA general notice and COBRA election notice.

The notice requirements are mentioned in the Texas Administrative Code and Texas Administrative Code.

Your employer must tell you about continuation of coverage within 30 days from the date your job ended.

Unfortunately, there is no model notice for Texas State Continuation.
