Can 1099 workers join the way they can if the employer allows it on an ACR group?

This answer will vary by carrier, but nothing in the new regulations prohibit a 1099 worker from joining.

UHC’s rule: 1099s are allowed as long as the employer contributes the same as W2 employees. The group must qualify as a group without the 1099 workers.
